ABOUT THE STCW BASIC TRAINING

Before beginning any job on a ship, an STCW course is in most cases mandatory. The basic training focuses on equipping seafarers with the necessary knowledge, understanding, and skills to perform the role of seafarers effectively and safely.

A STCW Basic Safety Training course provides all required elements of STCW Basic Safety Training delivered in both theoretical and practical modules, each training element will be assessed by qualified instructors to meet the competence requirements of the STCW code.

This comprehensive training ensures that seafarers are prepared to handle emergencies, promote safety, and protect the marine environment. Covering critical topics like personal survival techniques, fire prevention and firefighting, elementary first aid, and personal safety and social responsibilities, the course not only fulfills regulatory compliance but also fosters confidence and preparedness in maritime operations.
